Booking Both Directions of a Baku Airport Transfer
A return airport transfer should contain two complete journeys: the arrival into Baku and the later trip from your accommodation to the departing terminal. They may involve different addresses, passengers or luggage. Prepare each direction separately, then ask the operator to acknowledge the full arrangement. This makes a round-trip request easier to review and avoids treating the departure journey as an automatic reversal of an old arrival message.
01
Separate the two flights and local dates
List the inbound flight number, local arrival date and scheduled arrival. For the outbound flight, provide its own number and departure date. Check flights around midnight against the dates on the booking, especially where a late hotel collection happens on the previous evening.
| Journey | Information to confirm |
|---|---|
| Arrival | Flight, date, public meeting and destination |
| Return | Flight, date, collection address and airport requirement |
| Both directions | Passengers, bags, vehicle arrangement and quoted scope |
Use the landing and readiness guide when discussing the arrival collection window with the operator.
02
Plan the departure from the actual final hotel
Your last accommodation may differ from the hotel used after landing. Give the operator the final address and entrance instruction, including any apartment handover or resort access detail. Follow the airline’s current check-in instruction when agreeing an airport arrival and hotel collection time.
If passengers leave from several addresses, send the full list together. The multi-hotel pickup guide explains how to coordinate the sequence. A return journey needs to allow for those collections and loading rather than using the drive time from only the closest hotel as the plan for everybody.
03
Confirm what the combined quotation covers
Ask whether the quotation is for both directions and which vehicle arrangement applies to each. Clarify the agreed waiting, any intermediate stops and payment method. If the passenger or bag count changes, ask whether the accepted arrangement needs to be revised. Mention shopping bags or equipment added during the holiday when reconfirming the return load.
Keep the written acknowledgement available to the person arranging each journey. A friend coordinating the arrival may not be present for the departure, so the departing passengers also need the operator’s contact and collection instruction. If different family members pay for the two journeys, explain that before the transfer rather than leaving an uncertain payment instruction for the driver to resolve.
04
Reconfirm changes without rebuilding the whole trip
When a flight, hotel or group detail changes, identify the affected direction and send the revised information. Ask the operator to acknowledge the update while preserving the details of the other journey. Review the final departure instruction before leaving the last hotel.
Check the terminal guide, since the departure building should follow the actual flight. With two clearly described journeys, a round-trip booking connects the start and end of the stay while allowing the arrangements to match how the holiday really develops.
No form and no prepayment: message the route, date, time, passengers and luggage directly. Agreed extra waiting and short stops at interesting places along the route are included at no extra charge.
