Start with the hotel entrance, not just “Baku centre”
The right airport transport depends on your final address. A hotel near 28 May, an apartment on a pedestrian part of Nizami Street and accommodation inside Icherisheher need different arrival arrangements. Send the full property name and map pin. Ask reception whether a car can reach the door or whether you should meet at an accessible street entrance. Keep that address available offline before the flight.

Private transfer, taxi or airport bus?
A private transfer is arranged before landing and takes your group to the agreed address. It suits travellers who want a confirmed vehicle, help coordinating a late arrival or space for a family’s luggage. A taxi is another direct option; establish the total fare and pickup arrangement before starting. An airport bus serves fixed stops, so include the onward walk or local connection when comparing the complete journey. Check the airport’s official transport page for current bus information rather than relying on an old timetable.

Separate landing time from your pickup time
The aircraft’s arrival time is not the moment you reach a car. Passport control, baggage collection and walking to the public arrivals area come first. Send the operating flight number and the local arrival date, especially for flights around midnight. If your bags are delayed, contact the driver before leaving the agreed meeting area. Do not select a pickup time by adding an assumed fixed number of minutes to every flight.

Compare the whole-car quote
Our published airport-to-Baku fares start at $45 per vehicle. The final quote depends on the car and the confirmed address; it is not a per-person bus fare. Check the vehicle, passengers, bags, child-seat request, meeting point and payment arrangement together. Flight monitoring and agreed pickup waiting are part of the published service. Count every suitcase and child seat
A passenger count alone does not establish whether luggage will fit. List large suitcases, cabin bags, a folded stroller and oversized items separately. For a child seat, provide the child’s age and size and ask for the available seat to be confirmed. A sedan, SUV and minivan offer different seating and luggage arrangements; choose the actual vehicle instead of assuming every car in a category has the same boot.

A useful arrival message
Send: flight number; local arrival date; hotel name and entrance; adults and children; child-seat request; suitcases and stroller; preferred car. Save the driver’s contact and meeting instructions before boarding. For the return trip, send your flight departure time and hotel pickup address as a separate request. A city-centre transfer and a journey continuing to Gabala or Shahdag are different routes and need their own confirmation.
